Our History

Check out "Our History" under the "About Us" tab. Each month we will feature a bit of Columbine's History written from our quilter's.

We start with Elayne Cottingham's account of the very first Guild Meeting-Monday, January 19th, 1987.

Kits Are Still Available!

Sweetheart Sew-In was so much fun! The Community Quilt committee created “Trailing Vine Quilt” kits for us to make. A wonderful pattern for our collections!

There are still kits available to check out at our monthly meetings. Fabric is cut according to a pattern and put in a bag with the pattern for piecing. If you love to sew tops, sew away and return. The committee cut backing, batting, and binding for the kit and made it available for someone to check out to layer, quilt, and bind.  The final finished quilt is then put into the inventory and assigned to one of our designated charities for donation. (If you love to finish quilts, community quilt ladies will be happy to give you backing, batting, and binding for your quilt!

Join us and make a quilt for charity!
